RESOLUTION NO. 47 ·84
ORDER OF VACATION
PORTION OF MORRISSEY AVENUE AND VALE STREET
This matter coming to be heard on this 2nd day of July, 1984 upon the report
of the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County Planning and
Building Department with respect to the vacation set forth in a "petition for
vacation of a county road" submitted by Clarence Sayer, and it appeared to the
Jefferson County Board of Commissioners that a notice of the hearing had been
posted and published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of
such posting and publication being now on file herein, and said board having the
other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find
and determine that the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following described rights-
-of-way located approximately one-quarter mile south of the Hadlock Center within
Morrissey's Addition to Hadlock in Section 2, Township 29 North, Range 1 West,
WM shall be vacated:
A. Morrissey Avenue, being forty feet in width, lying forty feet east of the
centerline of Chimacum Road (County Road 923507).
B. Vale Street, being thirty feet in width, lying forty feet south of the
centerline of Chimacum Road (County Road 932507).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon deeding of property to Jefferson
County by said principle petitioner (Auditor's File 290167, Volume 190, Pages 604
and 605), further compensation as specified under Ordinance 2-76 by said princi-
ple petition shall not be required, except for expenses incurred by Jefferson
County for investigation, examination, publication, and recording.
