RESOLUTION NO. 50-84
ORDER OF VACATION
PORTIONS OF RUSSELL AVENUE & BROADWAY AVENUE
WITHIN A.C. CLARKS 1ST ADDITION TO CHIl4ACUM TOWNSITE
THIS MATTER coming to be heard on the 16th day of July, 1984,
upon the reports submitted by the Jefferson County Public Works Depart-
ment and the Jefferson County Planning/Building Department with respect
to the vacation set forth in a "petition for vacation of a county road"
submitted by Janice Schauer, and"it appeard to the Board of County Commis-
sioners that notice of hearing had been posted and published for the time
and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication
being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence ~dduced
and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine that
the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
All that portion of the 10.3 feet in width
by approximately 360 feet in length right-
of-way of Russell Avenue from the northerly
to the southerly plat boundary, also lying
northerly and southerly of the "Ludlow Road",
County Road 94150; and the 60 feet in width
by 40 feet in length right-of-way of Broadway
Avenue, lying between Lot 5 of Block 1 and
Lot 4 of Block 2 of the Plat of A.C. Clarks
1st Addition to Chimacurn Townsite, as re-
corded in Vol. 2, Page 30, records of Jeffer-
son County,
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.
BE IT FURTHER .RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76 except for the ex-
penses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication
and recording.
