RESOLUTION NO. 63-84
INTENT TO VACATE
PORTION OF THE STATION PRAIRIE CUT-OFF ROAD
WHEREAS, after due conslderation, it appears to this Board of County
Cúmmissioners that it is not i.n the pubLic interest to conti.nue to maintain
as a part of the County Road system;
ALL that portion of the 60 feet in width by approximateLy
920 feet in Length of the Station Prairie Cut-Off Road
(aLso known as the OLd Chimacum Road) Laying in N.W.~
of Section 21, Township 30 North, Range 1 West, W.M. des-
cribed as follows~
Beginning on the north at the intersection of said
Stati.on Prairie Cut-Off Road and the easterly margin
of Otto Street, County Road No. 688319; thence
southerly along said Station Prairie Cut-Off Road
to the northerly limits of that portion of said Sta-
tion Prairle Cut-Off Road vacated August 15, 1977 as
per Resolution Number 58-77 of the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners.
Containing 1.27 acres more or less.
and in contemplation of the language of the statutue R.C.W. 36.87.010, the
same l.S useless, Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer l.S hereby directed to
examl.ne said road and report hi.s oplnlon as to whether this County Road/Right
of Way should be vacated and ''-lbandoned; whether it wllL be advisable to pre-
serve said ro~d/right of way for the County Road System l.n the future; whether
the public wi.tl be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and alL other facts,
matters and thi.ngs which wiLL be of i..mportance to the Board; and that such re-
port be fi.led as soon as posslbLe. The hearing date for the proposed vacatlon
i..s November 13, 1984 at the hour of ~~m. ' to be held i..n the Commis-
sioner's Chambers, Courthouse, Porl: Townsend, Washi..ngton.
