Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Jefferson County typically schedules repaving of major county roads at a 20-25-year interval. This repaving schedule restores the road surface before deterioration advances to a degree that reduces safety and/or to where more extensive repairs are required. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The CRAB RAP program requires a 10% minimum match. The current construction estimate is $2,206,000. The available RAP funds total $1,700,700. The remaining $503,300 will be comprised of $300,000 in County Capital funds and $205,300 from the County Road Fund. Recommendation: The Board is requested to sign one original of the Resolution to Create the County Project. Department Contact: Bruce Patterson, P.E.
