PROPOSBD AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 2-77
3EWWERSON COUNTY HBALTH DEPARTMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 3efferson County Board of
Commissioners will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 10:30 a.m.
on Monday, February 9, 1987 in the Commissioners' Chambers, County
Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington for the purpose of obtaining
comments of all interested persons on the proposed changes to Ordinance
No. 2-77, 3e!ferson County Health Department Rules and Regulations.

RULBS AND REGULATIONS POR
ON-SITB SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS
3efferson County Ordinance 2-77, relating to the County
Health Department and sewage disposal systems, is hereby amended as
follows:
Rules and Regulations for On-Site Sewaae Disposal Systems
SECTION III Definitions
Add: 3,8 Certified Designer: Any person holding a valid
license/certificate issued by a local Health Officer in the
State of Washington to engage in the business of designing on-
site sewage disposal systems.
Add new Section
SECTION IV Design
All on-site sewage disposal systems shall be designed in
accordance with these rules, and the rules contained in
the Washington Administrative Code Chapter 248-96. Said

design shall be performed by or under the direct supervision of a
registered sanitarian, registered professional engineer, or
certified designer,
This Ordinance shall become effective February 9~·1987.
