SECTION I. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The purpose of this ordinance is to
establish a fee schedule for the Jefferson County Department of Public
Works. This schedule shal I apply to al I fees required by the Public Works
Department, excepting hourly inspection fees. All fees are non-refundable.
SECTION I I. FEE SCHEDULE:
A. RIG-iT OF WAY USE APPLICATIONS
I. Application for Road Approach.................$25.00
2. Application for General Permit(a)............. 25.00
3. Application for License to Use Right of Way... 25.00
4. Application to Open Right of Way.............. 25.00
B. UTILITY APPLICATIONS
I. Franchise Appl ication Fee.....................IOO.OO
2. Franchise Re-Application Fee..................IOO.OO
3. Uti lity Installation Fee(a)................... 25.00
C. M I SCELLAJ\EOJS APPL I CAT IONS
I. Application for RID Petition(c)................50.00
2. RID Pet i t ion Bond(d)......................... .300.00
3. Application for Road Vacation Petition(b)..... 25.00
a. In addition, hourly inspection costs may be
charged.
b. Preliminary fee only;in addition other fees
wi I I be charged by other depart~nts.
c. Includes preliminary costs up to filing of
petition by applicant.
d. Bond accompanies fi ling of petition. Bond
amount is applied to total cost of RID. If
district is not established, unspent anount is
refundable.
SECTION III. REVOCATIONS AND AMENDMENTS: The establishment of a fee
schedule amends the following:
I. Ordinance 4-80. Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance.
2. Resolution 26-82. Adopting Rules for Construction of County Road
Approaches.
The establis~nt of a fee schedule revokes the following:
I. Resolution 3-82. Franchises and Permits; Uti I ities on County
Rights of Way. VOL 11 rAr,~ 0 1960

SECTION IV. SEVERABiliTY: If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause, phrase or figure of this ordinance or its application to any person
or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance or the
application to other persons or circumstances shal I not be affected.
SECTION V. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall become effective the
