JEFFERSON COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 2-77, RELATING TO THE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND SEWATE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: Section 4.4 Any sewage disposal permit issued under this section shall be valid for a period on one (1) year from the date of issuance. The permit may be renewed prior to the expiration date. A renewal is valid for a period of one (1) year. An administrative renewal (office review) may be granted, provided the applicant signs a statement which affirms and attests that site conditions have not changed. However, the Health Department, in any case, has the option to require additional information and to make a reinspection of the site to determine if the permit can be renewed under the rules and regulations in effect at the time of application for renewal. A sewage disposal permit may be renewed no more than twice. At such time a permit or the renewed permit expires, a new application for sewage disposal permit is required. Application will be reviewed and the site evaluated under the rules and regulations in effect at that time. Sewage disposal permits issued previous to January 1, 1983, will expire on December 31, 1983. Permits issued previous to January 1, 1981, are not renewable. For these sites, an application for a new sewage disposal permit may be made. In any case where construction of the structure for which the sewage disposal permit was issued is underway and a valid building permit exists, annual renewals of the sewage disposal permit may be given until construction is complete. Effective date of this Ordinance shall be January 1, 1983. this j ~ day of January, 1983. AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2-77 JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS Jefferson County Ordinance 2-77, relating to the County Health Department and sewage disposal systems, is hereby amended as follows: Rules and Regulations for On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems, Section 4.4. If approved as proposed, an expiration will be imposed on septic system permits, and all permits issued prior to January 1, 1983 will expire on December 31, 1983.
