RESOLUTION NO. 12-·83
TRANSFER OF COURTHOUSE GAS REVOLVING FUND
TO EQUIPMENT RENTAL & REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, it has been the responsibility of the County Auditor to
pay the County gasoline bills through a special fund called the "Courthouse
Gas Revolving Fund", established in June, 1973, with the First American
National Bank, now known as Seattle First National Bank; and
WHEREAS, due to the volume of petroleum used by the Department of
Public Works, it is no longer feasible or practical to continue payment of
the gas bills from said gas fund; and
WHEREAS, an Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund was established
by Resolution No. 88-77, to be used in part for the purchase of supplies
consumed in operating or maintaining County equipment; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor shall transfer the balance
of the "Courthouse Gas Revolving Fund" by check, in the amount of $378.93,
to the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund, and phase out said gas fund with
Seattle First National Bank.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Department is hereby
directed and empowered to pay all outstanding and future petroleum bills
from the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund.
