RESOLUTION NO. 19-83
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GENERAL LONG-TERM
DEBT ACCOUNT GROUP
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Washington State Auditor's
Office that Jefferson County establish a General Long-Term Debt Account
Group within the County's financial statements to reflect all liabilities
with a maturity of more than one Yêar after the date of issuance; and
WHEREAS, the County currently has one outstanding bond issue
which should be disclosed in the said Account Group along with an asset
titled "amount to be provided for dept service"; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor is hereby authorized and
impowered to establish a Genêra1 Long-Term Debt Account Group to include the
County's long term liabilities, along with as asset titled "amount to be
provided for dept service", to be posted by a journal entry and in the
general ledger.
