INTENT( 'TO VACATE
PORTION OF McMINN ROAD, COUNTY ROAD 40-6.2~
"
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this. Board of County
Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to cc;mtinue to maintain
as a part of the County Road System:
That portion of McMinn Road (Co. Rd. L~0-6. 21)
in Government Lot, 4, Sec. 6, ':t'wp. .30 N.,Rge.1c,vJ,;,
W.M. lying outside of the following described
right of way: A tract of land 60 feet wide, be-
ing 30 feet in width on each side of the fo110w-'
ingdescribed center line of the above named road
as surveyed and located over and across Govern-:,'
ment Lot 4" Sec. 6, 'rwp. 30N, Rge. 1 H.W.M.:
Beginning at a point which is N 1030'39" E a dis-
tance of'489.16 feet north of the section. corner
common to Sections 1 and 12, Township 30 N., Range
2 W.W.M. and Sections 6 and 7, Township 30 N., \
Range 1 W.W.M., said point being on the west bin7
of Government Lot 4 of Section 6; thence N 56 48,
00" E a distance of 37.17 feet; thence on the arc
of a 39 degree curve (146.91 ft. radius) toothe
right a distance of 205.49 feet; thence 843 03'37"
Eoa distance of 1.34 feet; thence on the arc of a
6 30' curve (88î.47 ft. radius) to the right a dis-
tance of 311.56 feet; thence S22048'31" E a distance
of 45.25 feet; thence on the arc of a 40 curve
(1432.40 ft. radius) to the left a distance of 190.84
feet to the south line of Government Lot 4 of Section
6. Said point being 504.39 feet bearing S88029'21" E
of the section corner common to Sections 1 and 12,
Township 30N., Range 2 W.W.M. and Sections 6 and 7,
Township 30N., Range'l W. ì.\T. M. Also, any portion lying
between the above described road right of way and that
portion of the road vacated 6-18-62, Vol. 0, Pg. 140

and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the
same as is, useless, NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED, and the Còunty Road Engineer is hereby directed to exa-
mine said road and report his opinion as to whether this County Road should be
vacated and abandoned; whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for
the County Road System in the future; whether the public'will be benefited ,by
the proposed abandonment, and all other facts, matters anq things which will
be of importance to the Board; and that such report be filed as soon aspos~
sible. The hearing date for the proposed vacation is May' 9. 1983 ,at
the hour of 11:00 a.m. ,to be held in the Commissione,r's'Chambers, ,Court-
house, Port Townsend, Washington.
