RESOLUTION NO. 41-83
ORDER OF VACATION
PORTION OF McMINN ROAD (C.R.
This matter coming to be heard this day upon the County
report and the County Planning Department's report with
vacation set forth in "Intent to Vacate", Jefferson County Reso1ut{on No.
31-83, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice
of hearing has been posted and pub1i.shed for the time and in the manner
provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file
herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced and being fully
advised in the premises, does now find and determine that the public will
be benefited by the vacation thereof; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
That portion of McMinn Road (County Road 40-6.21) in
Government Lot 4, Sec. 6, Twp. 30N., Range lW. W.M.
lying outside of the föl10wing described right-of-way:
A tract of land 60 feet wide, being 30 feet in width
on each side of the following described center line
of the above named road as surveyed and located over
and across Government Lot 4, Sec. 6, Twp. 30N., Range
lW. W.M.:
Beginning at a point which is N 1030'39" E a distance
of 489.16 feet north of the section corner common to
Sections 1 and 12, Township 30N, Range 2W. W.M. and
Sections 6 and 7, Township 30N., Range 1W. W.M., said
point being on the West line of Government Lot 4 of
Section 6; thence N 56048'00" E a distance of 37.17
feet; thence on the arc of a 39 degree curve (146.91 ft.
radius) to the right a distance of 205.49 feet; thence
S 43003'37" E a distance of 1.34 feet; thence on the
arc of a 6030' curve (881.47 ft. radius) to the right a
distance of 311.56 feet; thence S 22048'31" E a distance
of 45.25 feet; thence on the arc of a 40 curve (1432.40
ft. radius) to the left a distance of 190.84 feet to the
South line of Government Lot 4 of Section 6. Said point
being 504.39 feet bearing S 88029'21" E of the section
corner common to Sections 1 and 12, Township 30N., Range
2W. W.M. and Sections 6 and 7, Töwnship 30N., Range 1W.
W.M. Also, any portion lying between the aböve described
road right-of-way and that portion of the road vacated
6-18-62, Vol. 0, Page 140 Commissioners' Proceedings,
