RE RESOLUTION NO. 46-83 i'iI eZ:l~j~ ROA!"~ 26 PM 3. qg ORDER OF VACATION PORTION OF SOUTH POINT COUNTY ROAD 9-1.56 Pi, This matter coming to be heard on the 16th day of D~,~~~~~jêounty Road Engineer's report and the County Planning rep~t with respect to the vacation set forth in "Petition of a County Road" submitted by Don Shultz, and it appeared to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing had been posted and published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine that the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED that: That portion of County Road 9-1.56, also known as South Point Road, formerly a portion of State Highway 9 East, described as follows: Beginning at the NW corner of Lot 17, Block 8 of the First Addition to Trails End as recorded in Vol. 3 Pg. 32 of Plats, records of Jefferson County, said point being 29.99 feet right of Engineer's Station 29+28.45 of said County Road 9-1.56 plans dated Sept- ember, 1952; said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN- NING for this description; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot 17, a distance of 45.74 feet to the SW corner of Lot 1; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Lot l, a distance of 83.30 feet to the NW corner of said Lot 1; thence ' Northwesterly on a line parallel to said Northerly line of said Lot 17, a distance of 45.74 feet; thence Southerly on a line parallel to the Westerly line of said Lot 1, a distance of 83.30 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen- sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76 except for the ex- penses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication and recording. ~ ORDERED this .1.3 day of May, 1983.
