RESOLUTION NO. 50-83
ORDER OF VACATION
ALLEY IN BLOCK 35 OF CHALMERS SECOND ADDITION
I RONDALE
THIS MATTER coming to be heard on the 6th day of June, 1983, upon the
County Road Engineer's report and the County Planning Department's report
with respect to the vacation set forth in "Petition to Vacate a County
Road" submitted by William F. Ward, and it appearing to the Board of County
Commissioners that notice of hearing had been posted and published for the
time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publi-
cation being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence
adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and deter-
mine that the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED that:
The 14 feet in width by approximately 240 feet in
length Alley, from the West line of Lots 6 and 24,
lying between Lots 1 through 6 and 24 through 29,
all in Block 35 of Chalmers Second Addition to
Ironda1e, as recorded in Volume 3, Page 9 of Plats
records of Jefferson County
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76, except for the
expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication
and recording.
