THIS MATTER coming to be heard on the 6th day of Jun&~r,n~r. ~ûE"o r Jstff'èO--
County Road Engineer's report and the County Planning Department's report
with respect to the vacation set forth in "Petition to Vacate a County
Road" submitted by Doris Oberg, and it appearing to the Board of County
Commissioners that notice of hearing had been posted and published for the
time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publi-
cation being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence
adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and deter-
mine that the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED that:
All of the 14 feet in width by approximately 154 feet
in length Alley lying between Lots 1, 2 and 4 and Lot
5 of Block 32 of Chalmer's Second Addition to Ironda1e,
as recorded in Volume 3, Page 9 of Plats, records of
Jefferson County
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140
with the stipulation that an easement for utility purposes shall be retained
by Puget Sound Power and Light Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76, except for the
expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication
and recording. , 'ß
