RESOLUTION NO. 99-83
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION
JEFFERSON COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Parks Department has insufficient
funds in their 1983 Budget of Expenditures to cover costs in the amount of
$1,350.00, incurred under Ordinance No. 3-83, Camping And Park Lands, which
was not anticipated at the time of préparing their said budget; and
WHEREAS, said amount of $1,350.00 is to be appropriated from
Revenue Account No. 1270, estab1ishéd by RéSolution No. 67-83, for the
purpose of paying expenses incurred by the Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a
need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated
at the time of making the budget for 1983, and the sum of $1,350.00 is
necessary to meet such need and émergency and is for the best interests of
Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation in the amount of $1,350.00 be made from Revenue Account No.
1270 for the Jefferson County Parks Department to be used for the purpose
of paying Park expenses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation, and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 21st day
of November, 1983, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of said hearing
be published in the official newspapér of Jefferson County, and that at said
hearing, any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
