RESOLUTION NO. 108-83
ORDER
BUDGET APPROPRIATION - PARKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County,
did, on the 7th day of November, 1983, declare that an emergency existed
to privide the sum of $1,350.00 for the Jefferson County Parks Department
to be appropriated from Revenue Account No. 1270, and set a hearing on
said emergency for Monday, November 21, 1983, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and
no objection or objection interposed; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby authorized to appropriate the
amount of $1,350.00 from Revenue Account No. 1270, to be included in the
Jefferson County Parks Department Budget for 1983 under a new line item
designated as BARS Account No. 519.90.41 Professional Fees.

HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION ~
JEFFERSON COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Parks Department has insufficieµt
funds in their, 1983 Budget of Expenditures to cover costs in the amount Qf
$1,350.00, incurred under Ordinance No. 3-83, Camping And Park Lands, which
was not anticipated at the time of preparing their saidbudget¡ and
WHEREAS, said amount of $1,350.00 is to be appropriated. from
Revenue Account No. 1270, established by Resolution No. 67-83, for the
purpose of paying expenses incurred by the Parks Department¡and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County CQmmissioners that a
need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated
at the time of making the budget for 1983, and the sum of $l,350.00 is ..
necessary to meet suchneèd and emergency and is for the best interests of
Jefferson County that the appropriation be made¡ now, therefore
BEI'r RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation in the amount of $1,350.00 be made from Revenue Account No.'
1270 for the Jefferson County Parks Department to be used for the purpose
of paying Park expenses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation, and that said hearing be held in the County Commis.-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the2lst day
of November, 1983, at the hour of 10:30a.rn.,andthatnotice of said hearing
be publish~d in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and thàtat:,s,aid
hearing, any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or agairist,the
appropriation for such. alleged emergency.
