RESOLUTION NO. 117-83

ORDER TO ESTABLISH COUNTY ROAD
"SETON ROAD", PLAT OF KEARNEY'S ADDITION
THIS MATTER coming to be heard this day upon the Acting Public
Works Director's report and the County Planning Department's report with
respect to Resolution No. 95-83, "Intent to Establish County Road",
approved by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners on the 18th day
of October, 1983, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners
that notice of hearing has been posted and published for the time and in
the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being
now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and
being fully advised in the premises does now find and determine that the
public will be benefited by the establishment of this road as a part of
the County Road System; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
The South 30 feet of Lot 12, and
the North 30 feèt of Lot 13, of
the Plat of Kearney's Addition as
recorded in Volume 1, Page 6 of
Plats, Jefferson County, Washington,
commonly known as "Seton Road"
be and the same is hereby established.

SUBJECT: Establishment of Seton Road
DATE: December 9, 1983
I have reviewed the proposal to establish Seton Road and recommend that the
Board accept and establish the Seton Road as a county maintained public road.
We have reviewed the deeds for the right of way and find them to be correct. Upon
your instructions we will record the deeds and add the road to the Official Jefferson
County Road Log.

RESOLUTION NO. 95-83
INTENT TO ESTABLISH COUNTY ROAD
HEARING NOTICE
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners have
determined it in the best interest of the public to maintain the road
commonly known as "Seton Road" as part of the County Road System, which
said legal description is as follows:
The South 30 feet of Lot 12, and the
North 30 feet of Lot 13 of the Plat
of Kearney's Addition as recorded in
Volume 1, Page 6 of Plats, Jefferson
County, Washington.
and in contemplation of the language of Statute R.C.W. 36.8l.0l0~
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of County Commissioners does
now declare its intention to establish the above described "Seton Road"
as a county road due to public necessity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Road Engineer is hereby
directed to examine the said road and report his opinion as to whether
this road is practicable as to the necessity of the road, as to the pro-
per terminal points, general course and length thereof, and all other
fact, matters and things which will be of importance to the Board; and
that such report be filed as soon as possible.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing shall.be held on

Washington, at which time all interested persons may appear and be heard
on the report and recommendation of the County Road Engineer either to
proceed or not to proceed with establishing the 'above described road.
