RESOLUTION NO. 26-82
(Adopting Rules for Construction of County Road Ap~roaches)
WHEREAS, RCW 36.75.130, .140 and .150 authoriz¢ regulation of
approaches to county roads by the Board of County C~mmissioners, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best intersts of the residents of this
county that such rules be established; Now, ~herefote,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
(1) Prior to construction of any county road ~pproach the
party desiring such approach shall complete an Application for
Road Approach, in the form of Exhibit "A", which isjincorporated
as a part of this resolution. If a contractor is tø perform any
portion of the road approach construction, it must ¢omplete the
contractor's portion of the said application.
(2) An applicant for a county road approach small stake
the location of the desired approach. No other work shall be
performed until approval has been received from the Jefferson
County Department of Public Works.
(3) All road approach costs and expenses shal¡ be paid by
the applicant.
(4) Construction of all county road approache. shall be
performed in conformance with the attached road app~oach plans,
Exhibits "BI!, "CI! and "DI!, which are incorporated as a part of
this resolution.
(5) The road approach permit will be consideréd void if
the approach has not been constructed ~ithin one ye~r
from the date issued.
(6) The road approach permit application fee is $10.00.
This amount is non-refundable.
