IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING A RESOLUTION )
FOR JUVENILE PROBATION COMMUNITY SERVICES ) RESOLUTION NO. 29-82

THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS find as follows:
1. That the 1981 legislature through ESSB 3636, Sec. 49 (E)
appropriated the Division of Juvenile Rehabilitation, funds
for Connnunity ,Consolidated Juvenile Services. These funds to
be used to establish Connnunity Correction Programs and provide
services for delinquent juveniles within the County. The
Connnunity Corrections Program replaces the program formerly
referred to as Juvenile Probation Subsidy Program.
2. The Board of County Connnissioners further finds there is a
need for a Connnunity Corrections Program to be administered
by the Juvenile Probation Department.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
in consideration of the above findings of fact:
1. The Board intends to participate and implement a Connnunity
Corrections Program in this County and make application for
funds available through Division of Juvenile Rehabilitation
Connnunity Consolidated Services, with the approval of G.B.
Chamberlin, Judge of the Superior Court and Grant S. Meiner,
Judge of the Superior Court; and designates Dorothy Cadwell,
Director of Juvenile Court Services, Jefferson County,
Washington, to coordinate planning, certification and the making
and submission of claims for reimbursement from the Division of
Juvenile Rehabilitation.
