Jd-{j , .3>/2Y/f L:) fc" " RESOLUTION NO. 30-82 (Establishing Procedures for Opening County Roads) WHEREAS, certain Jefferson County roads have been established but remain unopened, and WHEREAS, standardization of procedures is required for opening such county roads; Now, Therefore, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that a permit shall be required to open for traffic any established but unopened county road. The Jefferson County Department of Public Works shall process the said permit applications, which applications shall be in the form of attached Exhibit "A". DATED this 23rd day of March, 1982. Please des- cribe right of way. (Attach drawing or map) Applicant agrees to perform the work in strict compliance with the terms and conditions set out herein, and any special provisions attached hereto. ~. Applicant Name Address, Signature Date ***PERMIT*** Subject to the terms and conditions below, permission is hereby granted to applicant to open right of way. Applicable provisions are denoted by an ( X ) ~ /7 Applicant is authorized to construct a private access road to his or fer prQperty in accordance with applicable standards for private roads. The right of way will be located and staked by the County Engineer. The permit does not prevent other lot owners from using the access road. In the event u~ersof the roa~ wish to have the road maintained by the county, the users shall improve the street to minimum county road standards, or may form a road improvement district per RCW 36.88 to pay for the costs for improvements. I I Applicant shall construct a roadway to county road standards. The right of way will be located and staked by the County Engineer. After con- struction to county road standards, the new road will be maintained by the county *Note: Applicant shall pay the county one half the mill value of timber removed from right of way in order to offset costs to the county for future improvements.
