41-82
ROADWAY DESIGN STANDARDS
WHEREAS RCW 36.86.080 requires the adoption of uniform design stan-
dards for the construction of County Roads, and
WHEREAS the Jefferson County Subdivision Ordinance requires that the
County Engineer set standards for the design of roads, and
WHEREAS the design standards of the State Department of Transporta-
tion do not provide all necessary design standards as required to
meet the requirements of this County for subdivisions and developments,
therefor
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the attached table Exhibit A entitled
"ROADWAY DESIGN STANDARDS" hereby adopted to be used in conjunction
with the design standards of the State Department of Transportation
with regard to land subdivisions as described in the Jefferson County
Subdivision Ordinance and with regard to developments affecting exist-
ing County Roads.
