RESOLUTION NO. 57-82
FUNDING REQUEST TO THE NASHINGTON STA':1:'E INTERAGENCY
CO~rnITTEE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION
Development of Off-Ròad Vehicle Plan
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has not adopted an off-road
vehicle (ORV) plan; and
WHEREAS, such a plan is necessary to guide the development
of ORV facilities and will facilitate the proper placement of
ORV activities; and
WHEREAS, the county is interested in promoting recreational
opportunities ~ithin the region; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds and personnel are not currently
available within the county to develop an ORV plan; and
WHEREAS{ the Washington State Interagency Committee for
Outdoor Recreation is accepting applications for off-road
vehicle program funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED Jefferson County duly
requests funding from the Interagency Committee for Outdoor
Recreation for development of an off-road vehicle plan.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7t!1 day of June, 1982.
