Engineer's report and the County Planning Department's report wìth(respect
I
to the vacation set forth in "Petition for Vacation of a County Road" sub-
mitted by Stan Johnston, and it appearing to the Board of County Commis-
sioners that notice of hearing has been posted and published for the time
and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication
being now on file herein and said Board having the other evidence adduced,
and being fully advised in the premises does now find and determine that
the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED that:
That portion of the existing useage right-
of-way (approximately 25 feet in width) of
the Dosewallips Road, County Road 70, lo-
cated in the SE~ of the SE~, South of the
County Road (Tax 1), in Section 28, Town-
ship 26N, Range 2W, W.M., as replaced by
and shown on the plans of County Road Pro-
ject 344, approved October 14, 1971, said
road being approximately 300 feet in length,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140
with the stipulation that Jefferson County shall retain an appropriate
utility easement within the old useage road right-of-way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Jefferson County shall maintain
continued use of the area as a crushed rock stockpile site until the exist-
ing stockpile is exhausted. It is anticipated the materials will be com-
pletely used by the end of 1982.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that compensation for vacation of tpe
above described road shall be paid to the County by the petitioner as per
Ordinance No. 2-76, as defined under (1) Classification, Class 1, and for
all expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publi-
