RESOLUTION NO. 82-82
ADJUSTMENT TO COUNTY COMMISSIONERS'
MEDICAL INSURANCE PAYMENTS
AMENDING INSURANCE PORTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 88-80
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners set the
maximum amount of insurance costs to be borne by the county on behalf of
the said legislative authority and their dependents by Resolution No.88-80;
and
WHEREAS, the insurance payments established by said Resolution
are no longer in line with actual costs of such insurance due to the effects
of inflation and other economic factors, and need to be adjusted to a more
practical amount; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that that portion of Resolution No. 88-80 fixing
the maximum amount of hospitalization and medical aid insurance coverage
costs to be paid by the county on behalf of each County Commissioner and
their dependents is hereby amended to al1m" the same level of medical
benefits paid to county employees to be paid to said Commissioners also,
not to exceed the amount of two-hundred dollars ($200.00) per month.
