RESOLUTION NO. 83-82
INTENT TO VACATE
PORTION OF MUMBY ROAD
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue to
maintain as a part of the County Road System:
All that portion of the Mumby Road, County
Road 4-9.35, located in the SE~ of the NW~
of Section 20, Township 30 North, Range lE
W.M.. lying outside of the present right-
of-way as constructed under C.R.P. 516,
approved June 14, 1982;
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the
same is useless, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed
to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this County Road
should be vacated and abandoned; whether it will be advisable to preserve
said road for the County Road System in the future; whether the public will
be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and all other facts, matters and
things which will be of importance to the Board; and that such report be
filed as soon as possible. The hearing date for the proposed vacation is
September 7, 1982, at the hour of 11:00a.m., to be held in the Commissioners'
Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington.
ADOPTED this "9..lÍ.t- day of August, 1982.
