RESOLUTION NO. 113-82
INTENT TO VACATE
PORTION OF OTTO STREET COUNTY ROAD 48
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue to
maintain as a part of the County Road System:
That portion of Otto Street, County Road
No. 48, lying outside the Easterly margin
of the Otto Street Extension, C.R.P. 510,
approved October 26, 1981, and adjacent
to Blocks 34 and 37 of Eisenbeis Bayview
Addition (except the extensions of the
alley in Block 34 and Eisenbeis Avenue)
as recorded in Vol. 2, Page 54 of Plats,
records of Jefferson County.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the
same is useless, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed
to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this County Road
should be vacated and abandoned; whether it will be advisable to preserve
said road for the County Road System in the future; whether the public will
be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and all other facts, matters and
things which will be of importance to the Board; and that such report be
filed as soon as possible. The hearing date for the proposed vacation is
November 8, 1982, at the hour of 11:00a.m., to be held in the Commissioners'
Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington.
