AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 121-82
ORDER
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FEASIBILITY STUDY
BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did, on the
16th day of May, 1980, enter into contract with the Washington State Depart-
ment of Transportation for public transportation feasibility studies in the
amount of $13,482.00; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 112-82, executed by the County Commission-
ers on the 20th day of September, 1982, declared that an emergency existed
to establish a budget for the public transportation feasibility studies in
the amount of $13,482.00, and stated the date and time of hearing on said
emergency as Monday, October 4, 1982, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published in the local news-
paper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, hearing was held at the specified time and date set, and
no objection was interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that Resolution No. 121-82 is amended as
follows: The County Auditor is hereby authorized to set up a budget in the
amount of $13,482.00, within Non-Departmental in Current Expense for the
Public Transportation Feasibility Studies; and
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Jefferson County Transit Authority
shall be billed the amount of $13,482.00 for reimbursement to the County for
said studies.

ESTABLISHING BUDGET FOR
PUBLIC TRAN&PORTATION FEASIBILITY STUDY
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners entered
into a contract, on May 16, 1980, with the Washington State Department
of Transportation for public transportation feasibility studies in the
amount of $13,482.00; and
~VHEREAS, on September 20, 1982, by Resolution No. 112-82,
the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County, did declare that
~n emergency exists,and the sum of $13,482.00 is necessary to establish
a budget for the public transportation feasibility studies, and it is in
the best interests of Jefferson County that the budget be established,
and set a public hearing on October 4, 1982; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published in the legal
newspaper for Jefferson County as required by law; and
WHEREAS, hearing was held at the time and place set for said
hearing, and no· objection was interposed; now, therefore, ~S

Dear Chairman Brown:
In reviewing our records regarding advance financial support payments
for public transportation feasibility studie$, we show that repayment is
owing from Jefferson County in the amiunt of $13,482.
GC 6151 is the agreement providing fo~ the payment. July 2, 1982 was two
years after the payment was received,~y Jefferson County for this study
agreement, and the due date for repay~ent since a transit subsidy tax
was enacted in Jefferson County. I
