RESOLUTION NO. 131-82
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PREPARATION
WHEREAS, David Lloyd Whited has submitted an invoice for the
sum of $430.60 for preparation of the Community Development Block
Grant application for renovation of the VFW Hall building; and
WHEREAS, this expense was not anticipated and the funds
were not appropriated in the 1982 budget, and it appears to the Board
of Jefferson County Commissioners that a need and an emergency exists,
and the sum of $430.60 i.s necessary to meet such need and is in the
best interests of Jefferson County; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that
an appropriation be made for payment of said invoice, and that a
budget be established; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on
said emergency appropriation in the County Commissioners' Chambers,
Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on November 8, 1982 at 10:00 am;
and the notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper
of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer
may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such
alleged emergency.
