BUDGET TRANSFERS
COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Community Services has requested
budget transfers in order to adjust their 1982 Budget of Expenditures; and
T.-lliEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds in
within their own budget to allow the requested transfers;
and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be,

Narrative:
The smaller budget changes are due to increased service levels
and budget predictions that were not accurate.
Larger changes are:
Mental Health:
31. Professional Services increase is because the consulting
psychiatrist was required to work more hours than we
originally anticipated. The State XIX Contract mandates
that we provide these services.
51. Intergovernmental Services. This automatically increases
when the revenue for XIX increases. We pay a 50% match
amount each time we bill for payment. (new this year)
Alcohol
11. Salaries are more than originally shown because the counselor
was moved from 80% time to full time in January when the case
load was determined to be increasing.
42. Miscellaneous increase is due to the new charge from the State
Office for certification ($375)
