RESOLUTION NO. 144-82
ORDER
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
CONTRIBUTION TO FAIR TOLL COALITION
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, did, on
the 8th day of November, 1982, declare that an emergency existed to provide
the sum of $2,000.00 for the Fair Toll Coalition to assist with legal ex-
penses incurred in their action against the Washington State Department of
Transportation to achieve equity in the setting and administration of tolls
collected on the Hood Canal Bridge, and set a hearing on said emergency for
the 22nd day of November, 1982, at the hour of 11:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published as required by law;
and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and
no objection or objection interposed;
NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners, that the County Trea$urer be, and she is hereby authorized
to transfer the amount of $2,000.00 from the unencumbered 501 Current
Expense fund balance into Current Expense Fund No. 125, Non-Departmental,
for the Fair Toll Coalition; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor is hereby authori-
zed to include the said sum of $2,000.00 in the Non-Departmental Budget for
1982, under BARS account nò. 519.90.43.
