RESOLUTION NO. 145-82
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET ALLOCATION - PENINSULA TOURISM COUNCIL
tmEREAS, the Peninsula Tourism Council has requested a
$3,000.00 allocation for the calendar year 1982 from the County Hote1/
Motel Tax revenues in return for certain services which will benefit
Jefferson County; and
WHEREAS, these funds were not allocated in the 1982 budget,
but it appears to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners that said
allocation is in the best interests of Jefferson County; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that $3,000.00 of the Hotel/Motel Tax reve-
nue for 1982 be allocated to the Peninsula Tourism Council for tourism
promotion as specified in the agreement between Jefferson County and
Peninsula Tourism Council; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on
said allocation in the CountyComrnissioners' Chambers, Courthouse,
Port Townsend, Waslïington on December 6,1982 at 11:30 a.m., and that
notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of
Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer
may appear and be heard for or against the allocation of said funds.
