RESOLUTION NO. 151-82
ORDER - BUDGET ALLOCATION
PENINSULA TOURISM COUNCIL
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of November, 1982, the Jefferson
County Board of Commissioners did dêtermine that an allocation to the
Peninsula Tourism Council for the calendar year 1982 from the County
Hotel/Motel Tax revenues will be in the bêst interest of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners did resolve to allocate
$3,000.00 of said revenues to the Council for tourism promotion as
specified in the agreement between Jefferson County and the Peninsula
Tourism Council, and set a hearing on said allocation for the 6th day
of December at 11:30 a.m., noticê of which was published in the legal
newspaper of the County; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing,
and no objection interposed; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners,
that the County Auditor is hereby authorized to pay to the Peninsula
Tourism Council the sum of $3,000.00, from the 1982 revenues from the
County Hotel/Motel Tax. . Jl

FRANK W. GARRED, being sworn. says he is the publisher of the
Part Townsend Leader, a weekly newspaper which has been
established, published in the English language and circula,ed can-
'inuously as a weekly newspaper in the town of Port Townsend. in
said County and State, and for general circulalion in soid county
for more than six (6) months prior to 'he date of the first publico-
tion of the Notice hereto attached, and thot the said Port Town-
send Leader was on the 27th day of June, 1941, approved os a
legal newspaper by the Superior Court of said Jefferson County,
and that annexed is a true copy of the
