RESOLUTION NO. 2-82
ADOPTION OF WAC 136-40
ACCOMMODATION OF UTILITIES ON COUNTY RIGHTS-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, RCW 36.55 provides that counties may grant franchises
and permits to accommodate utilities on county road rights-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable that a policy be adopted by Jefferson
County establishing certain standards and requirements governing the
accommodation of utilities on county road rights-of-way; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that WAC 136-40, Chapter 40 of the Standards
of Good Practice for County Road Departments, setting forth the policy
for accommodation of utilities on county road rights-of-way is hereby
adopted.
