RESOLUTION NO. 18-81
WHEREAS, the decreasing availability of energy supplies is increasing
County Courthouse energy costs; and
WHEREAS, conservation measures and improvements to the Cburth'ollsè wi 11
reduce energy demand; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County had an energy audit of the Courthouse
prepared, suggesting operation and maintenance procedure to reduce energy
consumption; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County had a technical engineering assistance
report prepared to examine and suggest capital improvements to the
Courthouse to reduce energy consumption; and
WHEREAS, the results of the energy audit and the technical engineering
assistance report have been summarized in the Jefferson County Courthouse
EnèrgyConsèrvationPr6gram.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners does hereby approve and adopt the Jefferson County Energy
ConservàtionProgram; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
will pursue the systematic implementation of this program and direct county
departments and offices to comply with the provisions of said program, as
appropriate,
