RESOLUTION NO, 21-81
BUDGET TRANSFER - SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department has expressed a need to adjust
their 1981 Budget of Expenditures, made necessary due to computer problems within the department
and to accounting and bookkeeping problems that were not anticipated at the time of preparing
the 1981 budget; and
WHEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds in other accounts within the budget
of the department to permit the essential adjustment;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, that
the Auditor be, and she is hereby, authorized to make the following transfers in amounts as
specifi ed

I hereby request the above transfer of . funds with-
in the Sheriff's Department budget.
For the most part this is necessary for ease of
accounting or bookkeeping. Apparently, these changes and/
or charges cannot be done within the computer without addi-
tional or special handling.
As far as I can determine, these transfers will solve
the problem that the computer cannot.
