RESOLUTION NO. 24-81
HEARING NOTICE
JEFFERSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
PROPOSED BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners entered into
contract, on the 3rd day of December, 1980, with the Washington State
Traffic Safety Commission for an Emergency Medical Services grant to provide
medical and communications equipment for certain specified Fire Protection
Districts in Jefferson County, in the amount of $3,900.00; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that an
emergency exists and the sum of $3,900.00 is necessary to establish a
budget for the Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services in the said
amount, and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the budget
be established; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that a
budget in the amount of $3,900.00 be established for the Jefferson County
Emergency Medical Services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency and that said hearing be held in the county Commissioners'
Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 23rd day of March,
1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published
in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that åt said hearing,
any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the proposed
establishment of the Emergency Medical Services budget.
