RESOLUTION NO. 26-81
ORDER OF BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
JEFFERSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County,
Washington, did, on the 16th day of March, 1981, declare that an emergency
existed to establish a budget for the Jefferson County Emergency Medical
Services in the sum of $3,900.00, which will be reimbursed in total by the
Washington Traffic Safety Commission; and set a hearing on said emergency
for Monday, March 23, 1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published in the local news-
paper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and
no objection or objection interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners, that there be and there is hereby established, a new budget for the
Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services in the amount of $3,900.00, to
be reimbursed by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, to be used for
the purchase of medical and communications equipment for certain Fire Dist-
ricts specified as Brinnon Fire Department; Marrowstone Island Fire Depart-
ment; Cape George Fire Protection District No.6; City of Port Townsend Fire
Department; and Discovery Bay Fire Protection Distict No.5; and that the
fund number will be
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is
hereby authorized and empowered to transfer the amount of $3,900.00 from
the unencumbered 501 Current Expense fund balance into the Jefferson County
Emergency Medical Services Budget for 1981.

BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor is hereby author-
ized to draw warrants against the said budget, not exceeding the amount
specified, unless a review is applied for within five days from date hereof.
