RESOLUTION NO. 41-81
ORDER OF VACATION
report and the County Planning
This matter coming to be heard
vacation set forth in "Petition for Vacation of a County Road" submitted
by James P. Michelson, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners
that notice of hearing has been posted and published for the time and in
the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being
now on file herein and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and'
being fully advised in the premises does now find and determine that the
public will be benefited by the vacation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
All of C Street between the Plats of C1earview
Addition and Hillcrest Addition to Ironda1e
and County Road No. 18 on the North and vacated
Fourth Street on the South, together with Lots
3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Block No.1, and all bf
the Alley in Block No. 1 of the Plat of South
Port Townsend lying Southerly of County Road
No. 18,
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140,
with the stipulation that Jefferson County shall retain appropriate utility
easements along the above described vacated alley; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76, except for the
expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication,
and recording.
