RESOLUTION NO. 45-81
TRANSFERRING OF CETA TITLE II-D EMPLOYEE
FROM SUBSIDIZED TO UNSUBSIDIZED POSITION
WHEREAS, Congress has phased out all subsidized CETA Title II-D
PSE programs as of April 17, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Multi-Services Maintenance Depart-
ment employed one person on the said CETA program, and has the need to
retain this person as a county employee to insure that the various Community
Centers and grounds are kept in satisfactory condition; and
WHEREAS, the Multi-Services Maintenance Department has sufficient
funds in its budget for 1981 to cover costs incurred to provide for payment
of an additional maintenance person; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
hereby grants approval of hiring of CETA Title II-D employee from subsidized
to an unsubsidized position for the Multi-Services Maintenance Department,
effective as of April 18, 1981.
