RESOLUTION NO. "17-1>1
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION -- PARKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Parks Department has insufficient
funds in its 1981 budget of expenditures to cover costs incurred for addi-
tiona1 supplies and governmental services; and
WHEREAS, the sum of $9,341.83 has been received by Jefferson
County through the sale of county owned cold-decked timber; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to utilize the
monies received from the said sale of timber for the maintenance and opera-
tion of Jefferson County Parks; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the Jefferson County Parks Department budget by the
sum of $9,341.83, from monies received through the sale of cold-decked
timber, to be used for supplies and governmental services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 18th
day of May, 1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and that notice of the said
hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County; and that
at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or
against the extension for such alleged emergency
