RESOLUTION NO. 55-81
ORDER TO CLOSE BRIDGE
"OLD LITTLE QUIL BRIDGE"
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did, on the
4th day of May, 1981, sign Resolution No. ª6-81, declaring their intent to
close the "Old Little Qui1 Bridge", and so published and posted notice in
the manner prescribed under RCW 47.48; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the public will be benefited
by the said' closure which will e1eminate a dangerous situation; now therefore
BE IT ORDERED THAT:
The Old Little Qui1 Bridge, on
County Road No. 302, Qui1cene
Streets, located in the NW~ of
the SE~ of Section 13, TWP 27N
R. 2W. W.M.
is to be closed by appropriate means and that adequate signing be posted to
alert the public.

RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS~ after due consideration~ it appears to this Board of County
Commissioners that it is in the public interest to close the bridge des-
cribed below to vehicular traffic:
The Old Little Quil Bridge~ on County
Road 302~ Quilcene Streets~ located
in the NW~ of the SE~ of Section 13~
TWP 27 N~ Rge, 2 W~ W,M.
BE IT RESOLVED~ this Board of County Commissioners does now declare its
intention to close said bridge to vehicular traffic~ and
BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED~ that a public hearing be set for 2:00 P,M~ April
27~ 1981~ to solicit public opinion about said closure,

INTENT TO CLOSE BRIDGE
WUEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners find that
the bridge known as the "Old Little Quil Bridge", located on County Road
No~ 302, is dangerous to all vehicular traffic thereon¡ and
WHEREAS, it is \n the best interest of the public to close said
Þridge; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to RCW 47.48, the Jefferson County
Board of County Commissio~ers hereby declares its intention to close the
fOllowing described bridge to travel by all vehicles:
The Old Little Quil Bridge, on
County Road No. 302, Quilcene
Streets, located in the NW~ of the
SE~ of Section 13, TWP 27 N. a. 2W
W.M..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the said closure be

published in one issue of the legal newspaper for Jefferson County; and
that a like notice be"pòsted in"aconspicuous place at each end of the
said "Old Little Quil Bridge".

Re: Old Little Qui1 Bridge
Gentlemen:
Upon recent inspection of the Old Little Qui1 Bridge in Qui1cene, I found
the bridge has deteriorated to the condition that I feel it should be closed
to vehicular traffic,
Attached is a resolution to be signed by the Board before we can block the
bridge off,
