RESOLUTION NO.59~81
ORDER OF VACATION
This matter coming to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's
report and the County Planning Department's report with respect to the
vacation set forth in "Petition for Vacation of a County Road" submitted
by Donna Jean Camfield, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners
that notice of hearing has been posted and published for the time and in
the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being
now on file herein and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and
being fully advised in the premises does now find and determine that the
public will be benefited by the vacation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
That portion of Market Street adjoining Lot 6,
Block 6 and Lot 5, Block 7 Supplemental Plat
of the Town of Harrisburg, Section 2, Township
29 North, Range 1 West, N.H.
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140,
with the stipulation that Jefferson County shall retain appropriate
utility easements along the above described vacated road; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76, except for the
expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication,
and recording.
ORDERED this 8th day of June, 1981.
