RESOLUTION NO. 72-81
ESTABLISHING THE DATES OF 1982 BUDGET
SUBMISSIONS, REVIEW HEARINGS & FINAL ADOPTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.071, the Jefferson County Board
of Commissioners have selected the alternate date of the first week in
December for final adoption of the Jefferson County Budget for 1982; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.010, the Jefferson County Auditor
has notified in writing each elective or appointive county official to file
with her on or before September 4, 1981, for submission by October 5, 1981,
an estimated budget for the ensuing fiscal year;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that each elective or appointive
county official shall file with the County Auditor an estimated budget for
1982 on or before September 4, 1981, for Auditor's submission to the Board
of County Commissioners by October 6, 1981; that budget review hearings
shall be held between October 14th and December 4th; and that during the
first week in December (December 7th - 11th) the Jefferson County Budget
for 1982 shall be adopted.

You are hereby notified to file on or before September ~~98~
itemized estimates of probable revenue, if any, from sources other
than taxation, and·all expenditures required by your office or
gepa~tment for the forthcoming y~ar.
Computer printout forms will be provided for the preparation and
submission of budget estimates. PLEASE TYPE YOUR ESTIMATES I~ THE
APPROPRIATE SPACES AND FILE THE ORIGINAL WITH THIS OFFICE, retain
the duplicate for YOdr files. The triplicate copy may be used as
a worksheet.
Please round off all amounts to the nearest dollar, i.e.; appro-
priation and expenditures. Computer. printouts will be provided
with your June expenditures paid in July prior to the end of the
month.
If you have any questions on your 1981 budget requests please
contact Cheri, Gus or me, after the computer forms are issued.
Employee Benefits to be considered in your 1981 budget computation
are attached.
Please refer to RCW 36.40.030 for penalty clause regarding late
submittal of pre1imi~ary budgets.
