HomeMy WebLinkAbout078 81 I Jo ctCtt.-çl.:,<-J t...·L /VA..: 7/n o-..Æ 7j~ '7 ~ï.,';)j) ¡ j ?~ RESOLUTION NO. 78-81 HEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Commissioners' budget has insuffici- ent funds to cover additional costs incurred for telephone and postage service in the amount of $1,500.00, which was not anticipated at the time of preparing the 1981 budget of expenditures; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contem- plated at the time of making the budget for 1981, and the sum of $1,500.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County Commissioners' budget in the amount of $1,500.00 to be used for communications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis- sioners' Chambers, Port Townsend, Washingtonl on the 3rd day of August, 1981, at the hour of 10:45a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any inter- ested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
