HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION - RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, there is a need to extend the Jefferson County Recreation
Department budget for 1981 in the sum of $20,000.00, to include the said
amount received from the City of Port Townsend Federal Shared Revenue
Fund, which is the total amount received for 1981; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to utilize the
monies received from the City of Port Townsend Federal Shared Revenue
Fund; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the pur-
pose of extending the Jefferson County Recreation Department budget by
the sum of $20,000.00, from monies received through the City of Port
Townsend Federal Shared Revenue Fund, to be used for personal services,
personnel benefits, supplies, professional services, and public utility
services (pool rental).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
24th day of August, 1981, at the hour of 11:00 a.m.; and that notice of
the said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson
County; and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and
be heard for or against the extension for such alleged emergency.
