RESOLUTION NO. 99-81
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION -- J.C. CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATION
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Construction and Renovation budget
has insufficient funds to cover costs incurred for the renovating of office
space for the Public Utility District No. 1 Office; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Public utility District No. 1 has
paid Jefferson County the sum of $10,000 for prepayment of lease; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to reimburse
the J.C. Construction and Renovation Budget the amount of $10,000 received
from Public Utility District No.1; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the Jefferson County Construction and Renovation Budget
by the sum of $10,000.00 from monies received from Jefferson County Public
Utility District No. 1 to be used for further construction and/or renovation
of county buildings.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 28th
day o~ September, 1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of the
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or against the extension for such alleged emergency.
