RESOLUTION NO. 100-81
BUDGET EXTENSION -- COMMUNITY SERVICES FUND
HEARING NOTICE
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Community Social Services Department
has requested budget extensions for the Developmental Disabilities BUdget
and the Alcoholism Budget for 1981 due to additional monies received from
the State of Washington and the City of Port Townsend; and
WHEREAS, the sum of $21,055.00 has been received from the State
for the purpose of "special projects", and the sum of $8,964.00 has been
received from the City of Port Townsend from City Liquor Profits, Cash
Beginning Balance, and Client fees; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to extend the
Developmental Disabilities and Alcoholism Budgets for 1981 by the above
noted amounts received from the State and the City of Port Townsend; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the Developmental Disabilities Budget by the sum of
$21,055.00 due to said amount being received by the State, to be used for
"special projects", and to extend the Alcoholism Budget by the sum of
$8,964.00 due to said amount being received from the City of Port Townsend,
to be used for salaries and wages.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency budget extensions, and that said hearing be held in the County
commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 28th

day of September, 1981, at the hour of 10:45a.m., and that notice of the
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and
that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or
against the extensions for such alleged emergency.
