RESOLUTION NO. 105-81
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION -- REVENUE SHARING FUND
WHEREAS, Jefferson County made a monetary loan to the C1a11am/
Jefferson County Community Action Council from the Federal Revenue Sharing
fund to enable the purchase of radio equipment for use by the Transit
Authority in 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Transit Authority has paid to the
County the sum of $1,969.89 in full payment of the said loan; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to reimburse
the Revenue Sharinq fund the sum of $1,969.89 received from the County
Transit Authority; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the Federal Revenue Sharing fund by the sum of
$1,969.89 from monies received from the Jefferson County Transit Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 5th
day of October, 1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of the
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or aaainst the extension for such a11eaed emeraencv.
