RESOLUTION NO. 126-81
DISBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, DISTRIBUTING AND ALLOCATING FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES
RECEIVED BY JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1981 (75% of total
year)
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the
sum of one million, one hundred sixteen thousand, six hundred ninety-
four dollars, forty-five cents ($1,116,694.45) from the State Auditor
of the State of Washington, representing 75% of this County's dis-
tributive share of Federal Forest Reserve Revenues apportioned by the
U,S, Department of Agriculture during the calendar year 1981 and pur-
suant to the statute of the State of Washington in such cases made and
provided it is now the duty of the Board of Jefferson County Comm-
issioners to make the proper disposition thereof; and
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful
consideration to the needs of the County Road System and their
necessary administrative requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County
Commissioners does hereby order, allocate, distribute and apportion
said sum of $1,116,694.45 as follows:
To the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance
and construction of County roads during the
year 1982 the sum of $1,116,694.45 to be
transferred into 1360,100, County Roads, on
January 2, 1982.
THE REMAINING 25% of Jefferson County's distributive share of
Forest Reserve Revenues will be appropriated by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture before the end of the calendar year 1981, at which time the
Board will make the proper distribution.
