RESOLUTION NO, 150-81
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION - COUNTY FAIR
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Fair has requested a budget
extension in the amount of $2,500.00 for expenditures not anticipated
at the time of preparing the 1981 budget for Capital Outlay, Building;
and
WHEREAS, $2,500.00 is available in the County Fair unencum-
bered funds, and it appears there is an emergency to provide this sum
for building expenditures; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has
determined that such an extension is in the best interest of the public;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the County Fair Capital Outlay, Building budget
by the sum of $2,500,00 for expenditures not anticipated; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the
said emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the
County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington,
on the 28th day of December, 1981, at the hour of 11:00 a.m., and that
notice of the said hearing be published in the official newspaper of
Jefferson county, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may
appear and be heard for or against the extensions for such alleged
emergency.
